A thread lift, also known as a “thread facelift,” is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure that involves the use of fine threads made of polylactic acid, polydioxanone, or other materials to lift sagging skin and improve the appearance of wrinkles and other signs of aging. The threads are inserted into the skin using a needle or a cannula, and they are then used to lift and tighten the skin. The procedure is typically performed on the face, but it can also be used on other areas of the body such as the neck, arms, and stomach. Thread lifts are less invasive than traditional facelift surgery, and they typically have a shorter recovery time.
