Hello! We are Sarah and Andrew and we film around Cornwall and publish videos on YouTube, usually weekly. Sarah collects sea glass to add to paintings of local scenes which are sold on Etsy. The channel is a hobby that we fit around family and day-to-day lives.

Unfortunately we cannot answer comments coming in more than a week after the publishing date of the video.

Do we have meet ups?
We are limited for time because we fit the channel around our family and jobs. We meet up with people who are Patrons and YouTube members, both on group walks and one-to-one. Why not join us on Patreon for meet-up details, ad free content and bonus videos.

Unfortunately we do not have scope for further meet ups but if you happen to bump into us while out and about, we will be more than happy to have a quick chat!

What camera do we use?
Since December 2018 we have used: Canon Powershot G7x MkII and from June 2025, Canon Powershot V1

How do I find the books you use?
Some are still in print although some we pick up in charity shops and may be available on Amazon or eBay secondhand. Please refer to the video for the book titles. Sorry but we can’t put a link in every description.

Best time of year to visit Cornwall?
We love May, June for flora and fauna, July and September for spectacular scenery.

What is your dog’s name?
Sorry but we do not release the name of our dogs, perhaps you can make up your own name for them.

What happened is one overhyped version gave the entire category a bad name.
In this video, I break down why new smooth and twist face threads may be far better than most people think, how they can support glow, structure, collagen, and even subtle lift, and why right now they may be one of the biggest value plays in aesthetics.
I also show you the study that changed the conversation for many people: molecular data demonstrating increased TGF-β signaling, increased type III collagen, and visible wrinkle reduction after thread placement. We’ll cover the difference between PDO, PCL, and PLLA, why barbed cog threads became the “bad leaf” that made people dismiss the entire branch, and why safer, simpler monofilament threads still deserve attention.
If you want a treatment with long surgical safety history, no vascular occlusion risk like filler, no permanent foreign material, and real biologic stimulation under the skin, this is worth a serious look. I also share where I think threads work best, who may benefit most, and what at-home add-ons like red light can do to help support results.

This is useful because it is a human follow-up study showing ultrasound evidence consistent with collagen formation around PDO threads and improvement in facial tissue appearance over 120 days.

Outcomes in thread lift for face and neck: A study performed with Silhouette Soft and Promo Happy Lift double needle, innovative and classic techniques. This is a larger clinical outcomes paper reporting high patient and surgeon satisfaction with minor complications over follow-up.
